The objective of the Project is to develop solutions for early detection and identification of operational safety indicators for operations of not only manned vessel, but also prospective Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships.

The Project is mainly concerned about detecting potential dangers related to collisions and stability-related incidents. These will be integrated into a Decision Support System, serving the watch officer. Ultimately, it will be ready for installation in IMO Degree of Autonomy 1 autonomous ships and further developed.

The Project is funded by Norway Grants from 'Applied Research’ POLNOR facility. The funding institution is Polish National Centre for Research and Development. Project Budget is around EUR 1.5 million.
